Claire combines an understanding of the psychology of design and place making, with a talent for making things look just right. The spaces she creates accentuate the existing qualities of a building or a place - bringing to the fore history, stories, character and layering in a new season or chapter. She is very confident in playing with the period, and cultural references to craft interiors that feel rooted and authentic.
Claire combines cultural relevance with commerical discipline. She previously led design teams across public realm projects as Head of Design at Future Cities London and Gehl Architects in Copenhagen and LSE Cities. She was also a Design Expert for the Design Council and acted as design consultant on for developers on major schemes such as the Earls Court redevelopment for Beyond Green.
She has an MSc in Design Sociology from The London School of Economics, a First Class degree in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art, and a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from Central St Martins.
